Happy New Year to you all. We hope you can join us for our belated Christmas Party, next Wednesday, 15th January from 6pm at Glouglou.

Like any good farmer we can say we had a bountiful year. We nurtured growth with our core activities; our second Summer Fiesta planting at the Bridges and our usual Ludlow Food Festival crop were both huge triumphs. We introduced a few new varieties which seem to have taken root; including the Slow Food Sundays at Ludlow Castle and our Christmas Fiesta at the Shrewsbury Flaxmill buildings, which both exceeded expectations despite the weather. We love the fact that our membership is growing at a healthy rate, now with the largest number of Business Supporters of any one Slow Food group in the UK. To top it all we finished 2024 on a massive high, with a number of Best in Show rosettes in the Slow Food Awards.

So, we hope you can join us next Wednesday 15^th January for our Christmas Party at Glouglou in Shrewsbury, everyone is welcome, members or not. It starts at 6pm and there’s a very enticing menu of small plates, featuring many of our supporters, that can be ordered to accompany your drinks choices – see below. We will be celebrating our award winners with a presentation by Shane Holland of Slow Food UK.
