What are my special features?

Attractive red dessert apple, turning almost purple when ripe, with some russetting. The flesh is yellowish white, sweet from and has a nutty characteristic.

 

Why am I forgotten?

Its obscurity makes it now very rare, although trees can be purchased from Walcot Nursery or graft wood obtained from The Marcher Apple Network.
