The Shropshire Distillery is owned by husband and wife team, Emma and Gareth, with the day to day operations run by female distiller Emma.

Driven by a love of gin and a desire to create a business that fitted in with family life, they made the move from Lancashire to Ellesmere in 2012 and quickly settled into Shropshire life. A few years later in 2018, The Shropshire Distillery began its story. Along with their daughter, Lily, and mascot Calla the Hungarian Vizsla, they set the ‘Gin Shed’ up as their first distillery, located at their family home.

The Shropshire Distillery ethos is to create classic, true, honest and handcrafted spirits, we are pleased to have The Shropshire Distillery join us as a Slow Food Business supporter.
